CIPROVEX-T is a broad-spectrum soluble antibiotic formulated with 10% Ciprofloxacin  is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that is effective against certain gram-positive and many gram-negative bacteria. Its antibacterial action is achieved by inhibiting the bacterial enzymes DNA gyrase (type II topoisomerase) and topoisomerase IV, both of which are essential for the separation and replication of bacterial DNA. By blocking these enzymes, ciprofloxacine prevents proper DNA segregation, thereby inhibiting cell division and leading to bacterial DNA fragmentation. This mechanism underlies its ability to halt bacterial growth and proliferation in both veterinary and clinical settings.

It is effective against organisms such as Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, Methicillin-susceptible strains, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Proteus mirabilis.
